Students will define and understand what Academic Dishonesty is and how to avoid committing it.
INSTRUCTIONS
- In your group select someone to be the Doc Leader.
- The Doc Leader needs to click on the link below, make a copy of the document, and share with the other members of the group.
- Make sure that you fill out the names of the group members at the top.

CASE SCENARIOS FOR WORKSHEET
SCENARIO 1
Mary is writing a report about her favorite animal. She knows that copying information directly from the internet and other sources is wrong and considered plagiarism. On a website, Mary finds a really good paragraph so she rewrites the information changing about 3 words per sentence. |
SCENARIO 2
Pang and Miguel are collaborating on an activity, like the teacher instructed. They each have their own paper that they are to turn in at the end of the period. Pang and Miguel write down the same exact answers on their papers and turn in the assignment. |
SCENARIO 3
Connor doesn’t know the answer to one of the questions on his assignments. So he puts the question into Google and which takes him to Yahoo Answers and gets the answer to the question for his assignment. He writes down the answer and turns in his work. |
SCENARIO 4
Parker doesn’t understand how to complete an assignment for his history class. Madison is great at history and allows Parker to take a picture of her work with his cell phone so he can look at it at home tonight and figure it out. |
